Schools must now test struggling readers for dyslexia

“Schools will be required to test students specifically for dyslexia if they are struggling to read, under a new state law. The law, which Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law this month, also requires the California Department of Education to post resources for teachers on its website by the start of the 2017-18 school year.”
