“I am a parent and a Learning Differences Committee member at Garrison Union Free School, a public school serving K-8 in Garrison, NY, about 50 miles north of NYC. We are looking for an adult speaker with Dyslexia who can be a moderator for a panel discussion and to speak about his/her personal experience (i.e. struggles and achievements) at our school’s annual “Differences Day” event which helps our students, parents, faculty, and community to gain insight, knowledge, and promote acceptance and tolerance of individuals with learning disabilities or difficulties.
